The boat was lovely and comfortable, the crew pleasant and polite, the food delicious and at every meal we had an explanation of what we were eating (it was all delicious local fresh food). The landscapes were sublime, the water inviting and the visits to the ruins most interesting: the jewel on the crown. Thanks mainly to the excellent tour guide we had: Peter Sommer himself, who knows the area like the back of his hand, but not only knows it but loves it and in his presentation transmits his love and enthusiasm to bring the ruins back to life.

We strongly recommend this tour but especially recommend the Agency, because all along the preparations of the tour (three years thanks to Covid) communications were easy and we received all the possible help we required. Bravo Peter, bravo Julie for the backbone work at the office and many thanks to our local guide Ayued too and the rest of the crew. A week of life on board, being wonderfully well looked after by a great crew and an expert tour manager. Swimming and cruising in beautifully clear seas, interspersed with delicious meals. Archeological walks with a real enthusiast made each day different and were interesting and expert.

Everything was very well organised and we had a superb tour manager and expert guide.

My wife, Regina and our friends Marina, Ricardo and Silvia and myself spent a very enjoyable week on the gulet Sun World IX, cruising the Carian Coast. We learned a lot about the events and personalities in the Carian region cerca 400 BC, in an entertaining manner, from our expert archeologist, Olivier Henry, who is in charge of the excavations at the nearby Carian site of Labraunda. We particularly enjoyed visiting Kaunus and Knidos. Our experience on board our gullet was also excellent, including the well-appointed cabins, the choice of anchorages, sailing when possible, good food and services, thanks to the efforts of our captain Tayfun, cook Mustafa and crew members Cumali, Kadir and Koray. And, finally, everything ran very smoothly due to the impeccable organization of the logistics by our tour manager, Cem Yucesoy. A big thank you to all of you from all of us!

The history,, the accommodation, the food, and the staff were all superior to my expectations. We sailed, swam and ate our way through a significant part of mans history.

Peter Sommer provided everything necessary to give us a superior experience, Cem the leader and Olivier the historical guide were both charming and knowledgeable. The captain ran a good boat and the vessel itself was superior.

This was my first experience with Peter Sommer and it totally exceeded my expectations. The tour manager was very efficient and made sure everything ran smoothly. We had an archaeologist accompanying us to the various sites whose wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm made the visits very special. The crew were very friendly and the food was delicious. I'd go back any time!
