This is the first time I use an U.K. tour operator (I am American) and did not have much expectation but MK staff were very responsive to my questions and booking was very smooth considering I did it during my travel in Africa.

It was a challenging trekking trip in a remote part of India where you see few tourists. The terrain was hard, the view stunning. Which a great team of guides and crew we successfully completed the 31 day trip ( with 24 days on track). We rate it as one of best and hardest trekking experiences we have had.

We were blown away by the fascinating sights in Khiva, Bukhara & Samarkand. The spectacles just got better and better as we progressed, the Registan being the jewel in the crown. The Uzbek dishes served in the city restaurants followed a set pattern but were varied, the salads being a particular hit. Spending time in the quiet mountain regions away from the bustle of the tourist sites was a welcome contrast. We loved the homestays in Nuratau, especially the creative home cooking. A great trip.

We met an enthusiastic rep at the Destinations Show, with whom we discussed various options for visiting the famous Silk Road sights in Uzbekistan. From that point on the contact with Mountain Kingdoms was always professional, helpful and friendly. Booking was straightforward and everything went very smoothly thereafter.

Recently trekked the Kilimanjaro Summit - Lemosho route and from start to finish it was fantastic. The scenery, the support crew, the weather, the complete organisation of the trip was a incredible and so worth doing.

Mountain Kingdoms may be a small group but they give such dedication and devotion to making sure your experience wherever in the world you find yourselves, to be amazing.

8 day climb to the top of Kilimanjaro by the Lemosho route. Excellent support by ground handler and good information available by your operator. Disappointed about quality of Qatar Airways flight out of Kilimanjaro International Airport. 3 hours late departing. No good or hot drinks served for another 4 hrs. Service very mediocre on the first leg. Dreamliner flight from Doha to LHR with female pilot much better.
