We are so glad we chose Nomadic Tours on their 14-day Encompassed Tour of Morocco. This company really does a terrific job of showing you the very best of Moroccan cities, sites and culture. We were really fortunate to have Younes Afqir as our guide and driver Mohammed; both of whom took such great care of us. Younes is incredibly knowledgeable and also a wonderful ambassador; teaching us about the Imazighen people, their history and their culture. We were surprised by the differences in the landscape as we drove around the country and really appreciated how warm and welcoming the Moroccan people are. Highlights for us were visiting with a Berber family in their home (it was a "first time" for them and they were SO kind and gracious!) and watching the sun set over the Sahara. However, if you are the kind of person who requires 4 star hotels with spacious modern bathrooms and big fluffy towels, this tour may not be for you. But if you want a more authentic experience of Moroccan life, then this is the trip for you!

Very positive experience with Nomadic Tours. They were very professional and responsive to all my questions. And the tour was a terrific price for all that it covered.

Morocco had always been on my list of places to visit it did not disappoint great place

Nomadic tours were great, our guide and driver were fantastic. However, some hotels need to be re-visited as well as some restaurants to which you are taken. In Fez the hotel you could not lock the door this was our second shift of rooms and did not realise until leaving at night for dinner this was a huge safety issue the rooms were very tired looking and not in a wonderful place it is quite a distance from anywhere and there was only one Italy restaurant and McDonalds to choose from. The hotel in Chefchaouen was more like a hostel/backpackers place lot of the people who stayed in the hotel were very noisy this went on up to midnight - I commented to the hotel manager at the time who said he would deal with it but it was not dealt with our tour guide also complained and still the noise went until midnight. I have read other reviews who have commented on the same thing saying it is more like a hostel/backpackers the hotel Madrid is also not up to a good standard. All the other hotels were good. I felt when we went to some of the places i.e. the tannery and silk thread place where they make scarfs etc were very commercialised and were expecting you to buy from them the gentleman from the silk place got very annoyed with us for not purchasing any products. It was amazing visiting the local Berber family and seeing the way they live and culture. But I have to say the best for me was the desert and being in the Sahara. Once again, our tour guide Khalid and tour driver Saed were incredible I could not have asked for better people.

Nomadic tour provided excellent service and used an experienced, knowledgeable and caring tour guide.

We started in Casablanca and made our way to Marrakech. On the way stopped at many towns such as Rabat, Fes, Meknes, Essaouira to name a few. A camel ride, slept in the Sahara and ended with a balloon ride over the atlas mountains. Along the away meet wonderful people and saw beautiful landscapes.

Khalid the guide was professional and courteous. Was very knowledgeable, gave great tips for dinner and shopping. was patient with the group. Always had a great smile and asked every morning : Are we Happy ...Always:-).

My Morocco experience through Nomadic was absolutely amazing. Made more so by our exceptional tour guide, Younez. Younez was kind, patient, caring and more than accommodating with our group. He was knowledgeable and left you with a sense of wanting to know more. Every day on tour was more of an adventure. Younez allowed us to have an off-the beaten-track experience, that when to compared to others who did the same tour prior, was definitely unique. The Sahara desert was my best highlight. The hotels were comfortable and the tour itself was paced very well with free time in between. Our group of “family” definitely made for good company. Said, our driver was exceptional and amazing at his job, taking passengers and other road-users into consideration. Both the planned activities and optional ones were good experiences.

Nomadic Tours was definitely designed around the traveller experience and not just the touristy places.

A small 12 person tour was excellent in size and an awesome 14 days touring Morocco with an outstanding tour guide that made this tour a 10+ insight into Morocco. culture and history.. Highlights are too many to cover, there is no one highlight to pick, they were only in Morocco experiences. Finishing the 14 day tour with the sunrise hot air balloon ride was a great way to finish touring Morocco.

Younese was a 10+ guide. Speaks 4 languages, is Moroccan and is a book of Moroccan history and events. Super personable, very helpful in every way. Not sure what this tour could have been without him. Omar, our driver worked well with our guide and also very helpful. Both went above and beyond for our group. Nomadic Tours has a great, well seasoned tour that covers it all. Very highly recommend Nomadic tours for a must do Moroccan tour.

Our 14 day tour was fantastic. We travelled through beautiful and varied landscapes, coastlines, mountains and desert. Everywhere we went the locals were so friendly and helpful. I think we were provided the most authentic experience any tour could offer.

Our guides and drivers were great. They were informative in terms of local knowledge and history. They were warm and genuinely interested in us and our wellbeing and overall enjoyment on the tour.

This tour gave me insights in to all the areas that I hoped to see of Morocco for my first visit. My only recommendation to improve the tour would be to have a single supplement, which I believed I had signed up for. Due to never receiving an invoice it was not until the tour was on that I found out I was not granted this request.

Other than the snafu mentioned above, the guide and driver were stupendous.

An incredible journey through Morocco 🇲🇦! We experienced wonderful sights, sounds, tastes and up close encounters with many different Moroccan cities and towns. A diverse tour, with many pleasant surprises awaiting us at every turn. We learned much of Moroccan history and culture and really enjoyed the people, the food and the sights.

Oulaid, our guide was excellent. He kept us informed, interested and always made sure that we had all we needed. The driver Hossain was the best! Long drives were actually fun with Morrrocan music playing and very cool stops along the way. There 2 guys make this tour better and interesting.
