Extremely well organised, a good variety with concerts, lectures, excellent food, trips around the city and into the countryside.

Martin Randall is a top class organisation that has varied trips, mainly of a cultural nature to suit all interests.

A tour of medieval sites in Saxony, covering places in both eastern and western German states, starting with the Carolingian period and seeing Romanesque and Gothic buildings, often in out of the way places. Comfortable travel, accompanied by a tour manager and an incredibly knowledgable lecturer. Hotel accommodation in the centre of Paderborn, Hildesheim and Quedlinben.

Martin Randall surely are the experts in their field.

A lovely mixture of the showmanship of opera in the arena, on warm evenings, and an introduction to the impressive selection of local art in churches and museum.

Very caring, really looks after the clients. A bit more expensive than most travel firms, but for that you get a really first class service that makes you feel 'special'!

A London day visit to a selection of Wren City churches including Temple Bar and the hidden parts of St Paul’s. A well-chosen selection with accompanying, well-informed, commentary, delivered with pace and enthusiasm.

My experience of several Martin Randall holidays is consistently good, indeed excellent. Extremely well-organised, they always do what they say they will do and communication is helpful, clear and timely. The speakers are first class and also help to provide a sociable experience.

We enjoyed superb leadership from the "lecturer," who is deeply knowledgeable. A diverse set of topics - Holy Roman Empire/urban design/arts and architecture, gardens.

We toured on foot selected Wren churches in the City of London, guided by Mr Martin Randall, culminating in Wren's masterpiece St Paul's. At each venue we were given a lecture that not only described the particular features of the building in question, but which also set it in the context of its time from the viewpoints of economics, religion, society and geography. On the way we had coffee in a converted Wren church and an excellent lunch inside Temple Bar.

MRT are rightly famous for their high standards, which were observed throughout. The booking process was simple and backed up by knowledgeable and helpful staff on email and the telephone. The website gave all the information needed to book and post-booking paperwork was faultless.

An international music festival, 2 concerts a day interspersed with interesting visits and good food.

Short tour in Belgium, based in Ghent but visiting, Antwerp, Bruges and Brussels. Comfortable hotel, engaging lecturer, effective tour manager, interesting companions and good food all added up to a lovely trip
