Excellent to visit Avila, Salamanca, Leon, Burgos and Segovia, as well as several smaller and more remote places, with such expert explanations and with intelligent and stimulating fellow-travellers

Martin Randall travel is exceptionally well organised, treats everyone as individuals, answers the telephone in person and delivers the widest range of cultural trips aimed at intelligent travellers.

We visited a wide range of public buildings and private homes in New England at the perfect time of the year to combine with leaf-peeping. The lecturer was extremely knowledgeable and the tour manager outstanding in her day-to-day organisation, and both were great company. Hotels and meals were excellent.

First class specialist cultural tour operator

4 days at the ultra luxurious Oberoi Grand in Kolkata with daily tours carefully tailored not to be ruined by that town's traffic gridlock. 9 days on the Assam & Bengal Navigation Company's wonderfully comfortable boat on the Hooghly river,notable for the knowledge of the local guides and the thoughtfulness and constant good humour of the entire crew, including the vital dhobi wallah (a two shirt per day climate)and the exceptional cuisine using produce we watched being delivered to the ship or bought b y the crew in markets. The daily excursions were fascinating, whether by minibus, cycle rickshaw or its newer electric powered successors. Even what could have been a tedious 2 hour, 20 mile, road journey was hugely entertaining for the sheer exuberant anarchy of Indian road travel.

Martin Randall travel were very efficient in organisation, provided excellent written material and employed a highly competent tour manager and knowledgeable and witty local guides. We had some dietary restrictions which all dealt with unobtrusively and competently.

We Walked a Royal River with Martin Randall, had great leaders and lecturers. A very good group, excellent hotels and meals. The "walk" was well orchestrated, and educational.

First Class! A difficult act to beat.
