Another excellent holiday in the Gambia
This is our 7th visit. Ngala Lodge is a perfect place to stay. The location is excellent but the staff and Johnathan take it to the next level. Always feels like coming home

A good choice of hotels for a carefree trip
Both Ngala Lodge in the Gambia and The Paillotte Village in south Senegal offered high standard of accommodation and restaurant services in attractive grounds new the beach.
Both Ngala Lodge in the Gambia and The Paillotte Village in south Senegal offered high standard of accommodation and restaurant services in attractive grounds new the beach.
We had a good service from Gambian Experience though they need to provide more information in English to supplement that available in the French-speaking Senegal hotel.

A wonderful winter holiday
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, relaxing and excellent cuisine. Plenty of opportunities to meet the local people and enjoy the wildlife while experiencing a very comfortable climate for a winter break. Comfortable flight and no jet lag

They call it the smiling coast. You will be smiling by the end of your holiday.
Good check-in and flight with Small Planet Airline ( and Trojan on the way back). Efficient passage through immigration and customs, efficient meet and greet, and distribution to Hotels. Ngala Lodge is superb; lovely location on private beach, and convenient between Bakau and Fajara. Beach deck, lawns, pools, gardens with quirky installations, restaurant and bar all lovely. Rooms superb. Service excellent, Food superb.Happy to spend most of ...

Rooms superb. Service excellent, Food superb.Happy to spend most of our time in the hotel. Walked to Bakau fish market- a fantastic spectacle. Took one organised trip to Fathala reserve in Senegal. Trip had its problems ( especially the long wait for the ferry) but overall; a good day out.
Everything very well organised. Nice quality to the materials sent out. The representative I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and helpful.

My holiday to The Gambia was the best so far after visiting three times this year. Totally relaxing . Good hotel, good service from staff both on the airlines and at the hotel. The standards at the hotel are excellent and the tipping service is much better as you tip at the end of the week as oppose to spending all your money tipping all the time The food at the hotel was amazing and exquisite
