Poised high above a quiet and scenic cove, on a series of burnished cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, adult-only Ngala Lodge is a unique and alluring boutique hotel.

Blessed by attentive yet relaxed service, along with impressive individuality, it’s impossible not to fall in love with this oasis of serenity. Award-winning Ngala Lodge is situated between Bakau and Fajara, and over the years, has gained a reputation for excellent standards and service. As a child-free property, the tropical gardens remain peaceful throughout the day. You’ll also discover several bird feeding points throughout the grounds, ensuring that wildlife can easily be enjoyed. Allow yourself to be enticed by Ngala Lodge's beachside decking area or the two swimming pools, including an infinity pool that seems to merge with the Atlantic Ocean. Each Suite at Ngala is unique, cool and spacious, with several room options available, most boasting ocean views across the gently sloping lawns. The main building was formerly a colonial mansion and houses the 10 original Suites over two floors, some having their own private garden area. Peter, the proud owner, has gradually added a variety of different Suites, while still retaining the sense of space and intimacy. For example, the Macondo Suites, some with private plunge pool, were added in 2015 when Ngala celebrated its 20th anniversary, along with a stunning infinity pool; and new in 2020, the exclusive Femmy Suite, boasting its own private decking area and 7.5m pool. Each suite is completely unique, with many individual features and pieces of art, along with a small library. A range of beauty treatments and massages can be arranged in the comfort of your room on request.
