We travelled by private car to Kandy visiting Penwalla Elephants, Temple of the tooth and cultural show, on via Ella to Yala we had 4 great days there before heading to Udawalwe and Mirissa to spend sometime by the sea. Seeing Whales, turtles and lots of colourful fish was a real treat.

Kate Glover at Fleewinter was great, we had many questions before we travelled and she was very helpful and responsive to our many questions, making recommendations but listening to what we wanted from the holiday. I thought Sri Lanka was a very special place and loved our entire trip it was great to see such a varied itinerary in a 2 week holiday

We spent 3 nights in Marrakech (day trip to Imlil - beautiful) and four sud Essaouira The scenery was stunning, accomodation spotless and wonderful. The food outstanding and arrived non-stop :). The staff in both Riads were kind, thoughtful and attentive and we had a fabulous time. Morocco has always intrigued me due to the fact that there is the sahara hiding behind snow capped mountains and also the mix of cultures, with the french road signs and postboxes and the Berber robes. I enjoyed being there more than I had dared hope. We also got engaged which was a bit of a surprise to me! A wonderful week.

Fleewinter gave us sensible advice and everything just worked! It was difficult to notice their input without thinking about it because there was no need to involve them. The transfers were prompt and lovely, drivers great, riads well selected.

Stayed in a Riad in Marrakech Medina. Lovely quirky hotel with helpful staff. Culturally so different, yet same time as UK and sunny weather.

Took account of our requirements and gave a no. of suggestions of places to stay. They also provided a range of very helpful tips about key places of interest and options for restaurants.

Stayed in Riad for 3 nights in Medina area of Marrakech and then 2 nights at Kasbar Tamadot in Atlas Mountains

The Riads you choose for us were just what we were looking for, the Villa De L'O in Essouria has a magical location, and Essouria was lovely. Then Riad Hikaya in the old Medina in Marrakech was the great contrast to to the coast. John Pittaway the owner was the most helpful& knowledgeable mine host you could wish for.

We were extremely delighted with the whole holiday booked with you. You understood what we wanted to achieve and you certainly organised a great break to briefly flee our UK winter, thanks & all the best for the future.
