Aptly named ‘Bohemian Paradise’ is beautiful landscape with spectacular rock towns. Excellent itinerary giving good walking while allowing the time to enjoy the scenery and providing shortening options. All hotels were comfortable and of a very good standard.

This is our sixth On Foot holiday. As usual the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating. They responded very quickly. Route notes, maps and GPS were sent beforehand which along with details from their local support prepared us well for our trip. Highly recommended.

This area of the Czech Republic is beautiful, and the hiking routes selected by On Foot Holidays were the right level of getting a good workout but also overall ease of walking and enjoying the surroundings. And I greatly appreciated that most of the walking was in shade. The nightly accommodations selected were also great.

Very responsive and supportive. And of course knowledgeable about the routes walked and excellent suggestions on where to stay pre- or post-trip if so desired.

A beautiful 6 day hiking trip through Czech Republic and 5 days in Prague

Attentive, quick to respond to questions, always have helpful advice. It's good to know they are there if you need them.

5 days walking through the sandstone 'rock towns' of the Cesky Raj in North East Czechia. We only discovered this as we were attending a wedding in the country and so looked for a suitable holiday to go with this. As soon as we found an On Foot holiday in the area we were delighted to sign up.

We have used On Foot Holidays for 3 different walking holidays so far and we have enjoyed all three and the fact that we have not needed to contact them during the holiday suggests they know what they are doing. We will be using them again.

This was our first official walking holiday and we totally loved it. Every detail was taken care of or flagged to us by on foot holidays and this made it incredibly easy to just enjoy the exercise, fresh air, beautiful scenery and escape from reality.

From the moment I first contacted them on foot holidays could not have been more responsive. I changed our chosen route three times before booking and their patience was endless. The pre holiday pack contained literally everything we could possibly need and the entire experience was seamless.

We had a 7 day hotel to hotel walking holiday in north Bohemia. It was special because of : the unusual scenery, the quality of the walks and notes, the hotel choice and advice on eating places. Quirky hotels, unusual food. Ruined castles, weird rock formations, well preserved baroque towns. Like a trip back in time.

Had several phone calls ahead of the trip to fix details etc. Good local representation. Good post holiday response to feedback

When we first planned a hike in Czechia, we knew little about Bohemia. It was an amazing experience! The information from On Foot Holidays took away any apprehension we had. The Rock Cities were breathtaking and the trails easy to follow. We were surprised that more people were not enjoying the routes. We are so glad we discovered Bohemia and will tell others. We then headed with an 9 hour bus ride to Ljubljana. This city was the nicest city I've ever been too, even in the rain. Our hike was for 5 days but unfortunately after 2 days the rain was getting stronger so opted to take a taxi to Trieste. Again On Foot Holidays made the arrangements. Once in Trieste there was sunshine and we loved walking around the city.

On Foot Holidays sent packages about the hikes prior to us leaving Canada. The information relieved any concerns we had about the trips. The maps, accommodations, history, restaurants, walking guides, etc were excellent. If we had any concerns we were able to text the contacts in Bohemia and Slovenia to answer any questions. Once we decided that we did not want to hike in the rain, our contact in Slovenia, Miha Kramberger, had On Foot Holidays make arrangements for us to taxi to Trieste at no cost. We enjoyed Trieste and the sunshine.

Fantastic walking holiday in Czech with Onfootholidays. As usually, the staff and service from Onfootholidays was top notch. The Czech walking holiday was a good option for us as several of our group had never done a walking holiday and the footpath markers and directions were very good. There were a few steepish climbs, but not too many. Lots of forest walking, so this holiday would be perfect during the hotter weather. As usual, all of the accomodation was good and several were somewhat quirky. The food was excellent at most places, although not too many choices for vegatarians. I highly recommend an extra night in Jacin, such a beautiful town. A couple of nights in Prague at the end of our walking was great too!

5 full days of hiking in paradise. Each day usually offered recommended side trips as well, which could lengthen or shorten your time spent walking. Each corner revealed yet another fantasy view. Sandstome monoliths, trees that stretch to the sky, and ancient castles to clamber through. Although challenging at times, we would definitely recommend this trip for anyone who is reasonably fit, with a sense of adventure.

Very responsive and helped us to settle on a starting date to avoid closures of the sites and castles. Printed directions, maps and GPS routes gave us confidence, and knowing that there was a local guide "on call" made us feel pampered.

We had a wonderful self-guided three days in the Bohemian Paradise. We were lucky with the weather, but everything else was down to On Foot Holidays' careful and detailed arrangements. The walk instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the route itself was stunning; the accommodation was great, as were the picnic lunches. I was concerned about whether the climbs would be too much, but no problem. This was a celebration of my 70th birthday, and it was truly memorable.

On Foot were extremely helpful, both at the booking stage, and in the planning/preparatory stage, and the arrangements were faultless. They gave us a local contact to ring if we had difficulties, but we didn't need him.
