We spent nearly 4 weeks exploring Colombia - a country so diverse in scenery, wildlife including birds, culture, it’s cities and regions. From the plains of Llos Llanos to the Caribbean Sea and Cartagena.

JLA were super responsive to our needs when planning our holiday and during our holiday. They are used excellent local guides and tour operators.

Three weeks packed full of movement and interest. Pre-Columbian history, more recent history, wildlife and nature tours, coffee production, chocolate production, volcanoes, religion, ruins, good food (nice restaurant and street food), friendly people.

Provided lots of information before travelling, and a tour leader who accompanied the group and dealt with everything.

We're just back from a two-week trip to Colombia, a country we'd never visited before. Sophie Barber from Journey Latin America put together a tailor-made package for us; we went to the Tatakoa Desert, San Agustin, Popayan, Bogota and Cartagena and enjoyed it all.

The ground arrangements all worked really well; the hotels were as described and the guides were great.

Columbia - a tour in Bogoata, Barichara, Tayrona, Cartegena. Great representatives on the ground, making transfers easy and providing lots of very helpful information. Excellent unique accommodation chosen - exactly what we wanted.

Fantastic personalised service and great value. Great communication, very responsive. We had travellers from 3 different origin points, so arrangements were complex but handled brilliantly. Though we're experienced travellers, and rarely use an agency, we would definitely use this agency again for any trip to Latin America. Mary, in particular, is fabulous and made Colombia much more accessible for us.

We did a tour of various parts of this huge country, visiting Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena, Los Llanos and the mountainous area high up above Santa Marta/Minca (El Dorado). We experienced lovely Colombian people, so many wonderful birds and animals and glorious scenery. A great mix to give us a real taste of Colombia

Three weeks in Colombia and Costa Rica, wide ranging experiences from eco lodges to rustic farm on nature reserve. Tremendous road travel over the Andes and seamless air travel where needed. Wonderful people, beautiful scenery, gorgeous small towns and experienced and friendly guides. A holiday that perfectly matched the brief we originally discussed with the tour operator
