What a great trip, made extra special by Adventurous Ewe!! From the moment of booking, communication was great and as a solo traveller it was nice to “meet” some of the other people before the trip on the WhatsApp group. The trip itself was just perfect with a great balance of cycling and learning about local culture and history. The local guides were fantastic and stopped to show us various crafts and industry along the way. Cycling was long but not difficult and a great way to see beyond tourist hotspots. During cycling days we were very well looked after with drinks, snacks and a tasty lunch at a local restaurant- any allergies or food references were always catered for. Hotels were of a good standard and evening meals together gave us a chance to chat about the day and make friendships that will last beyond this trip. Adventurous Ewe planned an excellent total experience and were organised and approachable throughout. I would totally recommend this trip, whether you are travelling solo or with partner/friends and look forward to booking with adventurous Ewe again in the future!!

Have just completed another amazing challenge with Adventurous Ewe. This time it was a cycle in the Italian Alps taking on some of the most difficult climbs including Passo di Stelvio and Passo di Gavia. It was the toughest challenge yet and an incredible experience.

Our crew, Sue, Abi, Gerwyn, Mark and supported by our very own Stuart were amazing. There was nothing the support team wouldn't do for us to make sure we had the best chance of completing those difficult climbs. The planning of the trip was incredible from start to finish, moving our group over many mountain passes, making sure we were supported throughout and organising our hotels and meals every night. Even when the going got tough, there was always help at hand, a calm voice of encouragement and a fabulous sense of humour. Cannot recommend Adventurous Ewe and their fabulous team enough. A great bunch of people to help you achieve your goals.

This trip was superbly organised from beginning to end. Accommodation was first class and the guides and crew were fantastic. The scenery took my breath away (literally, especially at the summit). I highly recommend Adventurous Ewe and I would definitely book with them again.

Had a fantastic time climbing to the roof of North Africa. Jim and Gerwyn led the group brilliantly, making sure everyone was looked after and had fun. Definitely recommended!

Adventurous Ewe made the entire process easy, provided all the support and advise needed, and ensured the trip ran smoothly.

We did a 4 day trek to the Lost City, and as we were a small group we had special permission to spend a night the Lost City followed by special spiritual ceremony. We also got to explore, Minca, Santa Marta, Cartagena and Bogota which was great. An all round fantastic adventure.

They specialise in small group bespoke adventure trips. We have done several trips with them, and have another one booked in the future. We like the small company personal touch.

I had the best time with Adventurous Ewe completing the Welsh 3000s in June 2021. Brilliant guides that catered for everyone's levels, delicious food (even catering my gluten allergy) and a wonderful bunch of fellow hikers. The team perfectly combine a clear itinerary, skilled guides, relaxed atmosphere and buckets of fun along the way.

First class - well experienced guides, robust understanding of the local area and flexibile to a group's diverse capabilities. Highly recommend.

I have trekked with the 'ewes to Toubkal, Triglav, Patagonia and the Kingstrail in Sweden. I have also managed to squeeze in a few trips to Wales. Each trip was planned meticulously with the odd day factored in for local touring ,and but for the pandemic, we would have been in Georgia in 2020 at the Caucasus Mountains. Always great company, a sense of achievement whilst in safe hands.

I met Jim and Sue when I took the plunge and booked my first ever trek, with a different operator, 10 years ago at the age of 50 to Kilimanjaro. Soon after AdventurousEwe got off the ground and is now my go to operator. Jim and Sue have managed to achieve the enviable task of running a tight ship, whilst still be being approachable, flexible and most of all patient with those of us worrying that we may have got ambition mixed up with ability! The the sustainable and ethical approach box is definitely ticked, and local guides and guesthouses are always employed to support the local economy. Whatever the challenge we always have fun, whilst being safe and well looked after. I am very pleased now to call them both friends and look forward to our next and future adventures.
