Grysbok Safari

This Zimbabwean safari takes you from the teak woodlands and waterholes of Hwange National Park to the lush floodplains of Mana Pools, before finishing with lake views and relaxation at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge on the edge of Lake Kariba. With 3 superb camps and a variety of activities, this is a beautifully balanced trip for those seeking both adventure and comfort.

Days 1–4

3 nights at Somalisa Camp (full board & activities) | Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

From Victoria Falls, take a light aircraft flight to Hwange National Park where you'll stay at the elegant Somalisa Camp for 3 nights. Nestled beneath acacia trees and overlooking a seasonal waterhole, this stylish tented camp offers exceptional wildlife viewing—particularly of elephants. You’ll explore the park on expertly guided game drives and walking safaris, soaking up the diverse landscapes and encountering Hwange’s rich wildlife. The camp itself is an oasis of calm with excellent food and warm hospitality.

Days 4–7

3 nights at Nyamatusi Camp (full board & activities) | Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe

Leaving Hwange, a light aircraft will take you east across the country to Mana Pools National Park. A short game drive from the airstrip brings you to Nyamatusi Camp, a luxurious eco-friendly lodge overlooking the Zambezi River. Spend your 2 nights here exploring the park on foot, by canoe, or on game drives. The guiding is excellent, and the dramatic scenery and close wildlife encounters make for an unforgettable experience. In the evenings, enjoy fine dining and sunsets over the river from your private deck.

Days 7-10

3 nights at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge (full board & activities) | Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe

From Mana Pools you’ll fly by light aircraft to Lake Kariba, where you’ll stay at the beautifully situated Bumi Hills Safari Lodge. Perched on a hillside with sweeping views over the lake, this stylish lodge is the perfect place to wind down. Activities include game drives into the surrounding wilderness, cultural visits, or relaxing boat cruises on the lake at sunset. With its infinity pool, spa treatments and attentive service, Bumi Hills offers a luxurious end to your safari.

Day 10

On your final morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast with lake views before your transfer by light aircraft to Harare. From there, you can connect with onward travel arrangements or international flights.
