Best time to cruise the Mekong Delta: Between November to February
Spend a night on the Delta Enjoy the tranquillity of the Mekong Delta at night and gain a deeper appreciation for life on the water. Visit a floating market Cruise through a bustling market where everything is bought and sold from boats on the water.

Day 1: Cruise aboard the Song Xanh Sampan from Cai Be to Chau Doc
You will be collected from your hotel for a transfer to Phu An Jetty for 10:00 am. Begin with a bicycle ride around this remote countryside area, ending up at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river. After lunch, start your leisurely cruise on the Delta’s beautiful waterways, with stops along the way to explore local cottage industries that provide a living for the river people. Before arriving at Sa Dec, visit a traditional brick factory where everything is made by hand. Arriving at Sa Dec, step ashore and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit the historic house of the real-life character in the acclaimed novel and film "The Lover" by Marguerite Duras. Dinner is served at a local house. The owner welcomes you and a candlelit dinner is served in this authentic environment. Enjoy your first night on board the Song Xanh on the Mekong River.

Day 2: Cruise on board the Song Xanh Sampan
Breakfast is served on board while you cruise towards Long Xuyen along a narrow canal, passing several scenic monkey bridges. After enjoying lunch on board, arrive in Long Xuyen to visit Tiger Island, the birthplace of Vietnam's second president. Return to the sampan for dinner and resume your cruise towards Chau Doc. Your boat sails until approximately 10:00 pm before anchoring for the night.

Day 3: Arrival in Chau Doc
Breakfast. Close to the border with Cambodia, Chau Doc is the gateway to Phnom Penh. Known throughout Vietnam for its pagodas and temples and also Tra Su Forest a superb cajuput mangrove. Disembark at Victoria Chau Doc's private pier around 10 am
