I can rely on being well looked after and having a super holiday when I book through Mountain Kingdoms. They use the best guides, hotels and transport arrangements. When I call the office about anything, they are friendly, efficient and extremely helpful.

Silk Road to Samarkand with Fergana Valley extension

Taking a small group holiday which was well planned and excellently organised must be the best way to experience this part of the Silk Road. From train journeys to small vehicle travel and a local internal plane made the sightseeing varied and gave the opportunity to meet so many friendly local people. Architecture and history came to life with a very excellent local guide. It was fun too and even a 'cooking lesson' in a local home was provided ...

It was fun too and even a 'cooking lesson' in a local home was provided at our request! The whole visit expanded our knowledge of the Uzbek country, its local communities, its religion and heritage. I highly recommend it!

Mountain Kingdoms is an independent tour company who plan small group trips responsibly. They make small group travelling exciting and inclusive. They listen to their client's requests and include a variety of experiences to enjoy. You are well provided with information beforehand and any extra extensions are carefully executed. I have travelled three times with them and have been impressed each time. I highly recommend their service.
