A memorable self guided walking holiday on the Welsh borders

We have used On Foot Holidays for a number of overseas holidays and thought that we would see what they could organise for a UK based walking holiday. We were not disappointed and walking on a well devised itinerary and staying in appropriate hotels we had a very enjoyable holiday.

Welsh Borders, in the footsteps of Offa

Walking from BishopsCastle to Haye, mostly along Offa's Dyke Path, with maps and detailed directions provided, bags taken by taxis, accommodation and dinner booked each night and support to get to and from the start and end of the route. Takes all the hassle and anxiety out of the walking so you can just enjoy the day and the route.

Attention to detail is amazing, with many thoughtful bits of advice and help. Summary of the whole route so you can gauge the difficulty and then on a daily basis to help you prepare. Lots of extra information about the route and history and information about the places you stay and pass through. Friendly and supportive yet not intrusive with lots of general advice about walking and weather and what you need to take with you. Able to flex the days and stay extra in places as well.
