Beach Riding Holiday Suffolk Overview

The sandy beaches of Suffolk have been attracting visitors since Victorian times. On this short break you will be able to take in the sea air from the back of your horse and appreciate why so many people yearn for this type of adventure.

Day One If your dream is to enjoy a gentle ride on the beach in the UK then this is the break for you! The accommodation is in our lovely Victorian, Grade II listed B&B / guest house, or self catered cottages. If you choose to stay in one of the B&B's all offer single, twin, double and family bedrooms all with en-suite or private bathrooms, some with sea views (supplement to pay). This afternoon you will begin your riding holiday with a lesson to enable our instructors to assess your level and to allocate you with an appropriate horse. Day Two After breakfast this morning you will head back to the stables. You will be riding twice today, you can choose from additional tuition, beach rides or a woodland stroll (suitable for beginners only - this 30 minute ride is ideal as an introduction to hacking). We will talk to you about an appropriate programme for your level of experience, most people choose a mixture. All levels are able to ride on the beach and riders will be divided into ability groups so that everyone is riding at an appropriate level. The stable is located a short hack away from the beach and you will ride through the local town to get to the sea front. Day Three This morning after breakfast, you will be preparing for your final ride. Today we suggest heading to the beach once more. For those who have a child over 7 years interested in riding we can arrange an 'own a pony morning'. This will include a riding lesson, hack and stable management (grooming, tacking up and may be lunging for those who are more experienced). These can be arranged any day of the week and the experience runs from 9am - 12pm, all you need is to drop your little one off.
