This sensational trek follows an old Gurung trade route that ran between Lamjung and Manag in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trek also features the crossing of a 4,850m/15,912m pass. The paths in this area are well established as each August, the trails are used by pilgrims walking up to the holy lake of Dudh Pokhari. Despite this, the trek is relatively unknown so you are unlikely to see any other western trekkers until you reach the main Annapurna Circuit at Timang for your last day of trekking.
This wilderness trek in the Annapurnas is perfect for anyone seeking a relatively short and remote trek through spectacular and wild mountain scenery.
