1 Nov 2019 - TransIndus Launch New Northern Vietnam Private Itinerary with 2-Night Au Co Cruise and Overnight Stay at Legacy Yen Tu MGallery
TransIndus is pleased to announce a new 13-day private tour of Northern Vietnam that includes a two-night cruise on the Au Co vessel by Bhaya Cruises and an overnight stay at the Legacy Yen Tu MGallery by Sofitel.
The luxurious Au Co ship offers discerning travellers a unique three-day/two-night cruising programme that sails to lesser-frequented corners of the Gulf of Tonkin. Following a popular route through UNESCO-listed Halong Bay, the itinerary also features Lan Ha Bay with a visit to the Bhaya Community Farm on Cat Ba Island. One of the Au Co vessels is due to undergo renovations in December 2019 with a chic new décor planned for the cabins and restaurant, inspired by the legend of Âu Cơ and the creation myth of the Vietnamese people.
Opened in July 2018, the Legacy Yen Tu MGallery is the first five-star hotel in the Yen Tu Mountain region, an area new to international tourism in Vietnam. The property resembles a 13th-century palace and offers a secluded boutique experience surrounded by forests and misty mountains. It makes for a peaceful overnight stay before travellers depart from Hanoi international airport.
This new touring itinerary from TransIndus starts and ends in Hanoi with a three-night stay at the Mai Chau Ecolodge for village walks and hill treks. The Mai Chau Valley is fast becoming a favoured alternative to Sapa, which is under threat from over-tourism. The tour also includes a day visiting Ninh Binh, dubbed “Halong Bay on land”, with sampan rides through the impressive caves.
Prices for the 13-day private tour start at £3225 per person based on a twin-share basis. Prices include economy class international flights from the UK, 9 nights’ hotel accommodation with breakfast, two-night cruise on the Au Co ship by Bhaya Cruises on full board basis, the services of English-speaking guides, entrance fees, and all relevant transfers and transportation.
