Exploring Santa Maria The resort of Santa Maria is the main tourist area on the island, although it’s still a relatively small town with a laid-back vibe. There’s a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants to discover, and all of this is just a five-minute stroll from the hotel, so it’s easy should you wish to spend your evenings trying all manner of international and Cape Verdean cuisine. We offer a choice of board options for your stay at Morabeza. If you’re looking for an inclusion of some meals, with the flexibility to explore Santa Maria, the Bon Appetit dining is a great option. This includes dinner in the hotel’s Les Palmiers restaurant on the first and last night of your stay, plus a Saturday local themed barbecue buffet each week.
