Day 1: Yangon
Begin your journey along the spectacular coastlines of Myanmar and Thailand with your full day tour of Yangon. Step back in time among the vernacular Burmese architecture, British colonial buildings. Wander through the bustling, colourful street markets, traditional tea shops on your way to the massive reclining Buddha of Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda. From the lake at Kandawagyi complete your day at the awe-inspiring, gold covered landmark of Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon to Kawthaung
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your short flight to Kawthaung. Your day at leisure to explore this sleepy fishing town, find a peaceful spot along the waterfront to observe local life. Overnight in Kawthaung.

Day 3: Kawthaung to Kawthaung - Barwell Island (Saturday)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the jetty to start your five nights cruise through the Mergui Archipelago with Burma Boating. After the welcome aboard your yacht, we set sail to Barwell Island where we spend the evening on the beach. We’ll go for a swim before dinner and drinks.
Day 4: 115 Island - Mid Group - 88 Island
Leisurely breakfast on board. After a refreshing swim, we start our passage to Island No. 115, a place often frequented by Moken sea gipsies. In the afternoon we will reach the group of small islands called Mid Group. If time permits, we go for a dinghy excursion into a nearby mangrove forest on Island No. 88. After the evening swim, we have dinner in this beautiful covered area.
Day 5: Nyaung Wee Island - Great Swinton Island
In the morning we slowly sail towards the little village on Nyaung Wee Island and visit the local sea gypsy settlement. After lunch, we sail west to Great Swinton Island. Take a Jungle walk along the creek and collecting seashells on the huge beach. For those interested in Buddhism, a short visit to a local monastery. Snorkelling, then sundowners on deck. Watch the bioluminescent plankton at night.
Day 6: Ohway Island - Jar Lann Kyun
Early morning sail to tiny Ohway Island for the best snorkelling (and great fishing) in the region. Observe the colourful life of the reef, full of soft and hard corals and plentiful of tropical fish. After lunch, we set sails for Jar Lann Kyun and anchor in its large fjord, one of the most spectacular bays in the archipelago. In the mangrove forest, we watch the hornbills at dusk. Fine dining onboard. Relaxation time under the starry sky.
Day 7: Za Det Nge Island – Rhino
Long, leisurely sail towards Za Det Nge Island with its beautiful bays and beaches. Visit Rhino Island on the way. Its stunning turquoise waters are perfect for enjoying the sun. Later we move towards Za Det Nge’s for a last dinner party on the beach.
Day 8: Kawthaung - Ranong - Khao Sok National Park
After breakfast, back to Kawthaung, transfer to the jetty to cross the Pakchan River to Ranong in Thailand for your onward trip. After clearing border formalities at Myanmar – Thailand border, meet with our local representative for transfer to Khao Sok.
Overnight at Elephant Hills Resort

Ranong – Khao Sok (approx. 283 km): approx. 5-6 hrs
Day 9: Elephant Hills Khao Sok
Wake up to the sound of gibbons and birds calling from the misty tropical forest. Learn at first hand about the life of a Thai elephant and its mahout, and take part in the Khao Sok elephant experience. After a local lunch explore the Sok River by canoe, against a backdrop of limestone mountains and cliffs covered in lush green vegetation. Overnight in Khao Sok.
Day 10: Elephant Hills Khao Sok to Khao Lak
After breakfast, follow your guide into the jungle to experience the immense variety of plant and wildlife, marvel at the sights, the smells, the deafening sound. In the afternoon return to Elephant hills camp for your transfer to Khao Lak or Phuket for your beach stay.
