La Reunion: a veritable tropical island
We had a very wet start, but I am learning that lush tropical islands do get a lot of rain! The scenery, once visible, was stunning, reflecting its young volcanic history. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the accommodation comfortable, even luxurious, and the food, a mixture of french and Creole cuisine, was very tasty.
