Walking - Outer Hebrides & Skye by Gina, 6 May 2024
Holiday Rating:

A gem of a trip!

This was by far the best holiday I have ever taken. From the Wilderness Scotland head office team, to our personal tour guide, to the lodging and food, as well as every aspect of each individuals needs of our group. We were all very well taken care of! Completely felt like a queen.

Walking on the Knoydart peninsula with trips to Eigg and Skye

I was part of a group of eight walkers who stayed at Doune Lodge on a five-day walking trip run by Wilderness Scotland. We scaled a hill of between 450 and 780 metres on each day of the trip, delivered by boat to some of our starting points. We ate excellently at Doune Lodge.

Epic Orkney

Spring time in Orkney had all the weather mixed into one. Wind++ Snow, and sunshine everyday. Learning about Neolithic sites on Orkney is an all world experience.

Wilderness Scotland. Very good pre-trip information and and an excellent guide. The actual itinerary matched well with what was advertised, a good mix of travel to various sites and hiking at the sites. The trip accommodations (hotels and meals) were excellent.
